It is definitely getting colder here in Finland.
Creating Drift was one of the most introspective and cinematic experiences I’ve had as a composer. Rubin reminds us that the most vital aspect of creating isn’t about pleasing others or chasing perfection. It’s about what stirs within us as artists—about capturing the raw emotion that a piece of music or art evokes. With Drift, I felt that deeply. For me, it was about translating that feeling of drifting—not just the struggle but also the beauty of finding light, of emerging from uncertainty stronger and clearer.
